The city that never sleeps

On the great lawn. The last day of summer.

My favorite place in central park

While waiting in line to get inside the Marc by Marc Jacobs on Bleecker street in NY.Amazing store by the way. Cute little things from wallets to shirts, rings, wallets, bags, purses, and they are all pretty cheap.

What my best friend gave me

My best friend Betsy gave me my first fashion how to be stylish book, well its really called how to be fierce. It's written by the only Christian Siriano. It's hilarious and informative and filled with tons of tips.Check it out.
Thanks Betsy.Love you.

So many designers are designing retail lines, and they are delivering. From Alexander Mcqueen to Rodarte. The clothes are beautiful, edgy and what every girl dreams of wearing but can not afford to pay at the price of a ready to wear garment.Check out Zac Posens's. They are so fun and sexy. So girls, hurry to your nearest target around March, that's when this line will be hitting stores.

Hatch'09

Dusk till dawn

My senior collection at school. The theme was what we thought of the future, of what it held. I wanted to create a line about women being strong, and feeling comfortable but sexy. The clothes are meant to feel like your second skin. I was inspired by 80's rock and roll. Being rebellion.

Project Green.

Stephanie and I created this garment for Art Basel Miami. It was so exciting to finally do a garment of our own on such a huge scale. We could only use environment-friendly fabrics and our inspiration was the romance of nature and the appreciation we have for it.We also wanted to show how beautiful being green can be and look Our garment was made from 100% silk and the roses from silk dupioni. The fabric all came in white,so we had to dye it all. We used teabags, wine, onions to create the colors of the rose and dress. We spent around two months creating this garment,or less. The roses we did by hand and sewed each one on, and Stephanie got sick while we were sewing them on, and she was just like this cant be happening to me now.but we got her some Tylenol, and it was off to work. The day finally came where we had to present them. Stephanie and I were so excited, our model Talisa was amazing and the event went very well and the next day our entire fashion class came out in our local newspaper The Miami Herald!Later on, we presented our garment at Miami Fashion Week, which our close friend Leah modeled. It was her first time walking a runway and she did great, and loved it.
